  4. Nuance? I don't hold with it - I stick rigidly to Orwell's advice on the proper naming of gardening tools.

    That's why I always call a spade, unlike some who would no doubt call a spade a weapon of imperialist destruction to be used upon innocent worms, or some such nonsense.
